Hello!
Can someone PLEASE tell me whether you are required to do a course in Shellac before providing the service to clients?
I can not find a legitimate response or answer anywhere on the website. It is extremely frustrating !
CND says:
August 14th, 2011 at 9:34 pm
It depends in your location. If you are able to legally perform nail services on paying clients then you are able to perform Shellac. If you live in the states, most states require licensing, in other countries some require certain courses.
Hope that helps,
CND

Hi , does the use of medications such as amoxicillin , or other things impact the wear of shellac and if so what percations should be taken..Thank you, Great product!
Holly L Schippers says:

Common medications should not effect the wear of polish and therefore should not effect the wear of Shellac.
Hope that helps!

CND, I am a registered salon with you. There is no option for me to update my salon details as they have been added incorrectly. The contact us page is also showing a DNS 500 error so my email request to you is failing. Can you please add to my salon profile that I am a Creative Master Technician and offer Retention+/ Custom blend acrylic services as well as shellac. Much thanks!

I love Shellac… I have used it since it came to the UK… I saw this advert and got very excited and then realised you were recruiting in the USA. I am in the UK. I think Shellac is the best… I was very interested to watch demos on all of the alternatives recently at Olympia… I am certain that I made the best decision to take Shellac on… especially with the support of Layla and her team at Bournemouth Academy + !!!

Can you tell me if the Red Baroness color has been reformulated. I loved it when it was a darkened Chinese Red with subtle gold shimmers. The most recent bottle I opened is a blue based red – a compltely different color, with no shimmer. Flat blue based red. What happened?

Being listed on the salon finder qualifies you for certification. Someone from CND will do a surprise visit to the salon to certify it. Salon assignments for certification are being sent out in an ongoing basis.
Thank You,
CND

I’m having problems with building my business in Shellac. I’ve taking the Shellac Attack class, I’m charging $25.00 for the service. However, my question is why can unprofessionals buy the CND Shellac online? That is also why i’m having a problem building my business beside the town has lots of competition.
Holly L Schippers says:

Unfortunately CND has no control over what people do with their Shellac once they have it and some professionals as well as distributors lack the ethics to keep the products professional and would rather make some one time extra money.
